AI Text to Video Generator
Write motion, camera, and atmosphere in a prompt. Generate a short AI video clip ready for social, pitch, or storyboard work.
Text to video in MiniMaxVion lets you invent motion from a brief alone. Spell out subject action, lens language, and pacing, pick a video model, and generate. Pair it with text to image when you want a locked keyframe first.
- Prompt-driven clips for social, ads, and storyboards
- Camera and pacing language baked into the brief
- Works alongside image tools on the same board
Describe the motion
Cover subject action, camera move, pacing, and mood in your prompt.
Select a video model
Choose a studio video model and review credit cost before you run.
Generate the clip
Create the shot on your board, then restyle or extend with video edit if needed.
Describe one shot, not a whole story
Video models do their best work when the prompt describes a single continuous moment. If you need several scenes, generate them as separate clips and cut them together, or plan them first with a storyboard.
Example: "Aerial drone shot gliding slowly over dramatic sea cliffs at sunrise. Waves crash against the dark rocks below, green grass along the cliff tops, soft golden light and low mist over the ocean. Smooth forward camera movement, cinematic and calm. No text."
The four parts of a good video prompt
- Subject and action — what is on screen and exactly how it moves
- Camera — static, slow push in, tracking shot, orbit, or drone glide
- Light and place — time of day, weather, light direction, and setting
- Style and limits — film look, slow motion, and "no text" when you do not want lettering
Pick the format before you generate
Choose 9:16 for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube and websites, 1:1 or 4:3 for feeds, and 21:9 for a cinematic frame. Longer clips and higher resolutions cost more credits, so draft at 480p or 720p and render the final version at 1080p.
When to start from an image instead
If the look of the shot matters more than the motion — a product, a face, or a specific layout — generate or upload the still first and use Image to Video. Text to video is the better choice when you want the model to invent the scene, such as atmospheric b-roll, abstract motion, or establishing shots.
How does AI text to video work?
You write a prompt that describes the scene and motion. A video model generates a short clip from that brief.
Can I start from an image instead?
Yes. Use Image to Video when you already have a still you want to animate with camera and motion.
Are credits required?
Generation uses credits from your balance. Subscribe with PayPal on the pricing page when you need more. Memberships renew until you cancel. Credit packs are a one-time purchase.
How long can an AI text to video clip be?
Most video models make clips from 4 to 15 seconds. Seedance 2.5 can make clips up to 30 seconds. The studio shows the duration range for each model.
Which video model should I use?
Use a fast or mini model to test motion and framing, then switch to Seedance 2.0 or 2.5 for the final take at up to 1080p.
